Dear zager guitar,
I am a Juilliard grad who majored in opera. Recently, I became a music
school administrator, and one of my projects is to start a guitar
class. I looked at all the competition in the 3/4 size group, which
included Taylor, Martin, Yamaha etc. I was really unimpressed, and
decided to order the z-15, after reading its many glowing reviews.
Wow!!! Is this a great guitar!! It has a wonderful sound. Both bright,
and sweet to my ear. Not at all tinny like the martin or baby Taylor. I
also really appreciated the ez play adjustments, in which the strings
do not hurt young fingers, and are low to the frets. The workmanship is
outstanding, and the glossy polish on the guitar is really beautiful.
Originally, i thought i would erase the signature on the back (which is
easy to do), but i won't now! I can certainly understand the pride in
signing one's name to such a beautifully handcrafted instrument. And
the case is terrific, as well. Bravo, Zager!! A standing ovation for
you all!! You produce a fine product. I really think your ZAD-15 is the
finest on the market - at any price. Even if one was not looking at the
beautiful craftsmanship----the sound is so superior to the competition.
I was so disappointed by the baby Taylor, Yamaha and Martin lxm. Your
