07/26/2011 My guitar arrived today which was 3 days after ordering it. I unpacked it and was very impressed with the appearance, and after tuning it was also very happy with the tone and playability. I don't know how anyone can go wrong buying a guitar from this company. Well worth the price of admission! |

07/26/2011 Only wanted to say that after several months of owning the zad-80, I am still very pleased with the overall quality,sound and playability of this guitar. I showed it to a friend who has a Martin of twice the price and he was impressed. The sound of this guitar has enabled me to hear songs "better"; and more easily learn and play them. You do good work. |

07/20/2011 The Zad 80 OMCE arrived yesterday. I let it sit and get used to the house temperature and humidity until today. All I can say at this point is Wow! It is everything you said it would be and more than meets my expectations. I have been playing for over fifty years and have played just about every brand of acoustic there is and own three great ones, a J-45 Gibson made about 1937, another Gibson an L-00 Blues King made about the same time and a 1958 Martin 00-18, all wonderful instruments.
However my arthritus has gotten worse and I was searching for a guitar that was not only easier to play but would also approximate the tonal quality of the fine acoustic instruments that I own AND also allow me to play electronically. I did not have much hope of finding such an instrument and have been looking and trying out acoustic electrics for years.
Thanks to you I have found the instrument I have been looking for. It is easy on the fingers and wrist, has a full,smooth and very pleasing voice both acoustically and electronically and the on board tuner and adjustments are a real plus. In addition it is a very attractive instrument and a welcome addition to my collection. |

07/18/2011 Just a quick note to let you know that I went and picked up my guitar at the depot. I was anxious to get home to open up the box. But, when I did, my heart almost skipped a beat... I never saw a more gorgeous instrument ever before. Even though I'm only a novice in guitar playing, I found myself at ease with the instrument and felt proud to own such a quality guitar. Like I said, I don't know much about guitars but I do know this, I felt something when I picked up this guitar from the case it came in. I can't describe the feeling. just to put my hand on the neck, I knew this was something out of the ordinary and it almost felt like holding and old friend you haven't seen in a long while. I felt the craftmanship deep within and I know some artists always leave something behind when they work on a piece of their art. But with this guitar, I felt MR. Zager left his undenialble mark unto this one... I never felt so proud to own such an exquisite guitar and I know I will have some jealous friends when they get to see what I just got. And I must say it is everything you said it was and more. |

07/17/2011 I bought a Zager for the first time today at a pawn shop. I have played guitars my whole life (I am 45) and wanted to find something for my daughter who is 13 to bang around on, but I wanted it to be easy to play with no buzzing of the bass strings. After going to three different pawn shops and playing everything on the walls I happened on a Zager at the third. Had never heard of them. This instrument stood out from all that I had played. Couldn't believe the sound and the action was easy. Perfect! I bought the guitar and went home thinking I would get on the net and see what in the world I had just bought. I was stunned to learn this was the Zager of Zager and Evans. As a young boy I used to bug the disc jockeys in Memphis on FM 104 to play 2525. I know they got tired of me. It is still one of my favorite songs from my childhood. I will be giving this guitar to my daughter for Christmas with a great deal of pride. |

07/16/2011 Well I waited to finally write this because I wanted to be careful not to be
too impressed, but it's impossible not to be. This is a truly great guitar
and I know this because I am still playing it and have become more involved with it as I go. I am a beginner (at 47 years old) and have tried countless times before during my life to learn the guitar, but as you already know by all the others, it was difficult, finger hurting and I waned before I really gave it a chance. I haven't this time and am learning new chords daily,
picking up things here and there as I go. The sound is great, it came in
perfect condition, and I can't say enough good things about it. When I try
to explain what I have most people just think, "oh it's one of those cheapo
models you can buy at Walmart." But when they hear it and feel it, they
instantly know the difference. Thanks Denny and all your crew for doing such a wonderful job!!! |

07/14/2011 I received my new zad50 ce on Thursday. I can not tell you how impressed I am with this instrument. It is absolutely beautiful and plays like a dream. The sound is incredibly good for an instrument in this price range and it rivals my Martins and My vintage Guild d-25. I’m sure glad I stumbled upon your website last Saturday and decided to order one of your guitars. Keep up the good work, you guys are putting out an awesome product with the customer service to back it up. Thanks. |

I tell everyone where I got it and what is really cool, is that most of the people that I play with have $700 -$1,000.00 guitars and some even more expensive. Compared to my Zager they sound like cheap toys. You have an awesome product and I've really enjoyed being a customer. |

07/08/2011 I just received my ZAD-50 here at work and when I opened the case all I could say was OH MY GOD. The pictures on your web-site don’t do this beautiful guitar any justice, it is stunning. I took it out of the case and showed it off to my co-workers and they all said the same thing. Our Accounting Manager use to work for Gibson guitars where they are manufactured and she said the craftsmanship and finish is outstanding. I can’t remember how I came upon your web-site because I had done so much research before I bought, it must have been destiny. I did strum a few notes and let me tell you this, the sound exceeded my expectations and the highs and lows are in perfect balance. Keep up the good work!!! |

07/06/2011 Hello Dennis, I was playing my guitar tonight and was complimented by my neighbors- It was a beautiful Sunset in Southern California and I was just practicing/playing on my patio and it got very quiet as i was playing. 10- 30 minutes later i heard a whooh-yaah! all right !! I'm just a beginner and can't brag at all about my playing abilities, but I'm loving what I hear comming out of the guitar you guys sent me. Thanks for what you all do. |

07/06/2011 a couple of weeks ago I spent some serious time at a National Guitar Center. I played all the top dollar Gibsons, Taylors, Takamines, Yamahas, and Martins. Some , of course, were very nice guitars, but in all honesty, none of them sounded as nice ( or looked as nice ) as my new ZAD-80CE.

07/02/2011 My decision to purchase this guitar was based solely on the testimonials on Zager.com for these people actually purchased Zager guitars or Denny would not allow their testimonial to appear. It seems that anyone can post on other websites, even someone posing as an imposter purchaser of the Zager guitar. I feel that trusting a company is a great part of the purchase. Also, this company does have excellent customer service. The guitar is everything that other people have said in their testimonials, great looking, wonderful tone and easy to play. Frets nice and smooth, strings spaced evenly and what a great wax job. The help section that comes in video form on the Zager web sight when you purchase a guitar is wonderful as well.
Where can you go and purchase a guitar and have life time help in video form and get step by step instructions in restringing a guitar and other very useful information pertaining to guitars.

06/30/2011 I've had my Zad 50ce for about three months now and I just got to tell you I love this guitar. It really is the easiest playing guitar that I've ever played and the tone is just wonderful. You've made a believer out of me. I have a Sigma that I had set up and lowered since the mid 80's and I always liked that guitar but I wanted to step up to a better guitar. It looked like I was going to have pay three or four times the price to be happy till I found your website. I'm happy! |

06/29/2011 Received my ZAD 50CE last night........after unpacking it, I am not sure if I am suppose to play it or put it in a display case. It is beautiful. As I mentioned before ordering it, I have been learning to play on a Fender classical only because my friends and brother told me that was the easiest to start with. Well, believe me when I tell you, the ZAD is easier to play than my classical. I only wish I had started with it in the beginning. Thank you so much for a super fine instrument. |

06/23/2011 Received the guitar this past Thursday and have have been constantly playing it when not at work. It is everything you have advertised it to be and a Great Guitar. I have been playing a nylon classical for a long time and was looking for something with a thinner neck that was easy to play. I have Multiple Sclerosis which has affected my dexterity especially in my left right hand. Your guitar is just what I was looking for at an affordable price. I'm looking forward to your free lesson, however I feel I will be unable to finger pick. I can however use a pick to pick out notes because I have more control while I'm playing. |

06/20/2011 I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying my new black ZAD-50CE. I've been playing it constantly since I received it about two weeks ago, and I love it. It looks and sounds beautiful, and it is definitely easier to play than my Ibanez dreadnought, which was the only acoustic guitar I'd ever owned previously. There were songs that I would try to play on my Ibanez that just left my left hand and arm aching from trying to play the requisite chords, and now I can play the same songs on my Zager without any discomfort at all. I also really appreciate having an integrated tuner in my new guitar - that in itself is a godsend. I also appreciate all the support info and videos on your site. It's clear that you want to give your customers a great experience that will last well beyond the initial sale. I haven't signed up for the free lesson yet, but I expect to look into this soon. In the meantime, keep up the great work. |

06/16/2011 Just received my I love my ZAD 80 Acoustic. It is not only a joy to play, it is a beautiful piece of workmanship. I cannot tell you the number of people including professional musicians who have commented on the elegance of the instrument as well as the fabulous sound it creates. I was initially impressed with the overall sound quality. It played wonderfully with finger picking and was equally strong as a background rhythm instrument with huge full sound. Over the past couple of years I found myself gravitating more and more to a smaller body guitar. I was dismayed when I discovered ZAD-80 CE OM was sold out, but as usual you all made an extra effort. You went to the warehouse and found two that somehow missed the inventory. I cannot tell you how happy I was to luck out. I received the ZAD-80 CE OM at the end of last week and I was even more impressed. This guitar literally sings. I love it. Thanks for making the extra effort to get it for me. |

06/14/2011 Finally there is someone that does what they say. I love the natural beauty of the woods and the feel of the neck. most of all I love the ease with which it frets. After unpacking I tuned up(impressed with the built in) up and played for about two hours with no soreness of fingertips and just sat laughing with enjoyment. THANK YOU.... |

06/14/2011 I am the proud owner of a 50ce and 80ce and I finally stopped by the music shop and tried out 2 $2500 Taylor's and they did not even come close to my Zagers. They we much harder to play with the wide necks. And the sound was at best comparable to the Zagers. Well Denny Jr it must be the way I lay back on my bed sometimes when I practice but I have worn off another signature on my 80, oh well it is how I rub on that part of the guitar not the pen you use as we thought on my first guitar. I practice everyday at least 3 hours and in almost 1 year I have learned 20 of the finger style songs. I know my renewal is coming up in February and was just wondering if new songs will be coming on line. I have also written several songs myself and am looking forward to part 2 on the song writing video. Thanks for listening to me and everything you have done for me in the past. Wanted to let you know how satisfied I am. |

In this day and age, internet shopping etc....It is very hard to know what is right and wrong.
And it is easy to hide behind a computer and write bad things about someone or someone's product.
I am 48. Always wanted to play the guitar. This guitar has forwarded my progress tremously.
I just took back a $1500.00 Breedlove acoustic guitar I bought from Guitar Center because it was hard to play.
The sounds on my new Zager are better also! |

06/06/2011 Mr. Zager I have received my ZAD 50 this guitar is amazing I have played a lot of guitars But none match the zager . It arrived in perfect condition. The sound is beautiful. When I plug it up to my amp this guitar will blow you away. I think I will set my Ibanez out to the trash it is just too hard to play. The ZAD 50 is as easy to play as my Fender Stratocaster. |
