12/15/2011 I bought your year membership a couple of months ago and it's the best course I have ever seen. I have played acoustic guitar for over 6 years and I have picked up my skills mainly by myself, apart from learning the basic chords. To go into my own arrangements is just my own ambition, because even though I'm in my 40s, it's kinda interesting to know how guitarists do it. Because of your Zager Guitar lessons, I now can play fingerpicking songs like I never thought I would. I've started to write my own material which is absolutely amazing to see pull together...Thanks a lot for your very thorough guitar course. You showed everything quite honestly and professionally. |

12/14/2011 Your course has been so motivational I went and bought a new guitar! And guess which acoustic guitar I bought!? That's right - a ZAD 50CE off eBay. That's another testimonial in itself though. Sweet guitar! Sweet lessons too! The course covers all the examples, theory and basically everything I need to be an all round guitar player and more importantly the price no way reflects the amount of knowledge you receive. 12/13/2011 I started taking lessons with Denny about a month ago and have learned so much just in those few lessons. I have found him to be very talented and encouraging. Also, his fingerpick style is awesome and inspires me to keep practicing. Not only do I learn a ton from him but I have a lot in the process, not to mention afterwards too when I can finally play my favorite country tunes. I recommend him for players of all levels. I'm a beginner, but I can definitely see how his hints of encouragement and wealthy of knowledge can benefit everybody. |

I have been playing for over 10 years, and know how difficult it can be to find an instructor with a solid background that is capable of demonstrating the complexities of guitar theory in a way that is both practical and entertaining. Denny Zager is just such an instructor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who seriously wishes to increase their knowledge and competency with this instrument. I got a membership to your videos about 4 months ago. I've always wanted to play, and gave it a few weak tries over the years, but now that the kids are out of the house, I have no better time to really stick with it. I randomly landed on your page one day and after about a half hour of browsing around I bought a year of your guitar lessons. Since then I've learned more and can play more songs then I thought I'd be playing 2 years from when I started. I can't believe how much I've retained and been able to understand and learn from your videos. I thought it would be harder than this! You offer the best advice when you say to take it slow. Well, I've listened to you like a good student and I'm still learning much faster than I ever thought. I'm so glad I chose your Zager Guitar Lessons over the guy down at the music shop. I'm taking it slow but I think I'm really going to get good. Thank you for your awesome information and wealth of knowledge. |

I am self-taught from basically listening to old folk albums long enough to figure out what they're doing (with a little help from some friends that taught me standard and bar chords), but I don't know anything about music and can't do much more than play basic rhythm guitar and sing - your site has taken me beyond this and brought my playing into an entirely new realm. After months of using other instructional methods, thinking about spending a lot of money on a private instructor, and a single guitar book that didn't help me in the least, I happened upon these videos and have since made terrific progress. Zager's videos, along with their instructional materials, are the perfect tool for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of guitar. When I started, I had never picked up a guitar before. I was a total beginner. Now I can take my guitar lessons across the country with me and not miss a session just because I'm away from home; they're right there on my laptop. Where else can I do that? 11/14/2011 I'd just like to tell you guys that you have created the absolute best online instructional experience available-EVER. I'm a player of 13 years and a touring professional for the last six, but have been wanting to return to lessons to broaden my abilities. But, setting up a time and place to drive to class is difficult, due to my schedule. I saw the ad for this site on Google and was hesitant to check it out b/c most online tutorials don't come close to what it's like being in the room with a teacher. But, this site has changed my outlook on that for good.
Please, never take this away from us!!! It's literally like having hundreds of instructional DVD's in one place. |

11/13/2011 I work and attend college so I'm only available at night. Because of this, it's hard to find a guitar teacher in the vicinity that can adjust to a schedule that changes very often. Denny's method is great in that respect because it is available whenever I want it to be.....
The guitar lessons are well taught and the amount of resources provided by Denny's lessons is priceless. The addition of song lessons ensures that players will be learning actual music as well as technique. |

11/11/2011 I started to learn the guitar with Denny recently. I am delighted to have found in him the qualities you would expect from a good teacher: he is regular, on time, always cheerful, he is calm, patient and I receive encouraging words in his way of teaching guitar. Also, he will teach the same lesson over and over again for me. This is because he is in the videos. My guitar learning experience is tailored exactly to my needs, by me, when and where I have the time to learn. To anybody else who lives a busy life - I would recommend him and his lessons. I've made so much progress just because I can take a lesson whenever I want to, instead of rushing to make it on time to a face to face lesson that I can't repeat later if I need to watch it again. 11/08/2011 I always wanted to learn how to play guitar but my "Guitar for Dummies" book just wasn't cutting it. I took up lessons with Denny last May and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Denny has a very modern teaching philosophy which incorporates many styles of music. I believe his methods to be very practical and easy to apply while practicing. As an instructor, he seems to be always works with you at the perfect pace - slow - answering any questions that may present themselves while practicing at home. Playing guitar is AWESOME! Over the years I have briefly tried many teachers for a few lessons here and there, but never found anyone that sparked my interest in becoming a better player; that is until I "met" Denny. Denny's patience, organized approach to learning, and database of progressing lessons are allowing me to become the guitarist that I've always wanted to be. with other methods and reviving my interest and confidence in playing again! Learning the chords to strum along is fun, but learning and playing full
arrangements is incredible! I've made more progress in the past month than I have in probably the past year in terms of finger speed, flexibility and ear

Our son is the reason we came in contact with Zager Guitar. He loves his lessons with Denny. getting involved with the Zager system for about a year. Time is limited, and I didn't want to waste my investment. So far, I am fascinated with the system. Its just making my fingers follow a logic system. My ears are loving

10/06/2011 Well, I've always wanted to play the guitar. Over the last 40 years I've started and quit four or
five times. I've purchased and sold as many guitars I've watched videos, read books, used computer programs and taken private lessons. I just thought I
didn't have the ability. I've been doing Denny's system for a whole 5 days. I finally have found a system that's easy to follow and makes sense. When I
pick up my ZAGER ZAD20, I do it with confidence because I'm REALLY learning to play the guitar! I've watched a lot of Dennys videos and feel like he is
talking directly to me. He has a special gift. I'm working on "Love Me Tender" now and must say my wife and I are quite impressed on my progress. I've
also learned so much more about the guitar, like practice habits, using a capo, what type of strings to use, re-stringing and using a metronome to name a few.
I would recommend this system to anyone. I just can't say enough, I'm happy that I've
finally found a system that makes it possible for me to learn the guitar! |

impressed!! After three days of pretty steady playing I experienced no finger fatigue and the instrument sounds GREAT!! Zager Guitar has without a doubt

10/04/2011 Denny is an amazing guitar player and teacher. He was able to show some specific methods that helped to simplify what seemed very complex to me in his videos. I noticed a difference in my playing the day after my first lesson session. I was able to navigate around the fretboard much more freely after his guidance in scale and chord methods and the manuals I printed out in the begginning. I highly recommend his insight. Even if you're already a player, I bet you'll learn a lot. |

09/30/2011 Denny is very a patient sounding and informative teacher. Before I could start learning, I first had to unlearn years of bad habits and fretboard "laziness." He taught me the power that comes with knowledge of what I'm doing and the idea of fretboard economy; being in the right position and using all of your digits (I had an exceptionally lazy pinky finger). He also drove home the idea of good old fashioned practice; He's a very encouraging fellow and I felt that his efforts were sincere; that it really meant a lot to him to share his talent with others who have never played a chord. |

09/18/2011 When I began taking lessons 1 1/2 years ago using Denny's online videos, my goal was to apply myself and hopefully be ready to play in front of people within 5 years. To my surprise, in 6 months I was accompanying my first singing group, and I was leading worship at church within 1 year. Just recently I led a 1 ½ hour sing-along. The lessons pushed me but didn't overburden me. All aspects of my playing are addressed including strumming, fingerpicking, tablature, and chord charts. 09/15/2011 I got my membership a few weeks ago and I must say your guitar lessons are the best ever. I am now playing
songs that I had trouble with before. I just needed a little push. I will not hesitate to order another subscription when mine runs out. This is ideal way for someone who cannot commit to regular
lessons. Your material and method opened my eyes to all kinds of music.
We are now in our COLD season, so I had no trouble spending
a few hours with my guitar and your lessons. Thanks again for making playing guitar fun. |

09/14/2011 I've got no questions as of yet, I just wanted to say THANK YOU... and I feel I cannot express this enough. I've been playing guitar for the past 2 years without ever having taken a lesson due to lack of time available to do so. I've learned a lot in those two years by mimicking what I hear other bands play, reading tabs, and free styling into my own stuff... but I must say, I have only watched 4 videos, and I feel that I need to take a break and sing your praise. I can honestly say that I have learned more in the past week, than I have over the entire past 2 years playing on my own! You guys provide such a voluble resource to beginning players, I cannot begin to express how stoked I am to have found this site! Many thanks |

09/12/2011 I would just like to say thank you so much. I have learned a lot from your video lessons. There's are no words to explain the amount of knowledge I have gained in the last two to three months. I have a friend who has been playing the guitar about seven years, I've been playing for about a year now and I'm leaps ahead of him in general guitar knowledge, he still has stronger and quicker fingers than I, but pretty soon with more practice on strength building and a fuller understanding of the fretboard I'll be way ahead of him.
