09/18/2011 Wow, what a beautiful guitar! I bought the ZAD-50ce om on discount. It has a small scratch right below the tuner and actually is hard to notice unless you know it's there because it goes with the grain of the wood. With that said, it doesn't matter to me that it has a minor flaw. I feel honored and privilaged to own such a beautiful looking and sounding instrument. I have been playing on and off for 20 yrs now, more off than on and have finally found a guitar that doesn't defeat me yet makes me want to play. I now play every night for around an hour or so. This baby is hard to put down. The ease of playing is outstanding! I am soo used to pressing so hard on the strings that I have to constantly remind myself to relax as I am playing a real guitar now |

I am enjoying the guitar quality and ease of play very much so. I did not really expect it to be this much easier to play than my previous guitar. I really like how the guitar was shipped in the case, it was very snug and it eliminates the damage risk that traditional shipping would bring. |

09/12/2011 Well, Denny, received the ZAD50OM CE today via UPS, right on schedule. It's a beautiful guitar, one I'll be proud to show off anywhere. Cosmetically, it appears to be flawless at first look. Beautiful woods. The strings are so easy to press down on the frets, like you advertised, and the sound is great. BTW, the extra string set that came with it are the extra-light gauge; I am assuming that this is the recommended gauge for this guitar. Tested the electronic tuner and it appears to be right on target (tested it against an Intelli-Touch
electronic tuner). |

09/12/2011 Hi Denny...I'm basically speechless here. I am 52 years old and first played and took lessons on an electric guitar (Fender Mustang & Ampeg amp) when I was about 10 years old. I never really picked it up and never learned to read music. I easily lost my place in the sheet music, etc. I gave up. Even though my dad was a big band musician and said anyone should be able to play,"rock & roll", it only has 3 chords!!! Throughout the last 40 years I tried several other times and never succeeded. I decided that I just didn't have the, "gift" even though I love music and have had a life long desire to play. All my life there has been this nagging desire to play, combined with a sense of failure. Recently and now at age 52, I decided to give it yet another try. So I bought another guitar and went online to several sites that looked promising. None made much sense to me and it was not looking good until I accidently found your site. I signed up and have loved it. I have learned more in a few days than in all my years of struggle and I have something coming from my guitar that sounds like music!!! Is that possible???????? I am absolutely blown away. |

09/12/2011 I left a review. When I first read them before I purchased, thought it had to be hype. After getting help from you a couple times with one of your guitars that I did not even purchase new from you, found your service to be unbeleivable. I will be purchasing all my strings from you from now on. For one you can't beat the price. |

09/08/2011 I now own Three Zager guitars along with a Martin D-28. I have a black Zad 50 CE, Zad 80 CE and a Zad 80 CE OM. They are all great guitars. Each are easy to play and each has a sound of their own. I may in the future own other guitars but will always have my Zagers.
They are set up to be the easy to play. They are certainly as nice as Martin guitars for less money. The best thing about buying from Denny Zager is the service after the sell. You can read about their service all you want but, you will not believe how great they are to do business with till you own one. Their strings are the best I have found. 09/06/2011 It’s 6:18 p.m. in Waco. My guitar arrived this morning but I wasn’t able to get to it until this afternoon and until everyone left for the day. I’ve been playing for about an hour, songs that I’ve wanted to play and songs that I’ve always played. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The guitar feels like an old friend and sounds like a much older, seasoned guitar. My fingers feel great. It really easy to play. I can only imagine how it will sound over the years (something to look forward to). It’s perfect. Thank you. |

09/02/2011 My new guitar arrived minutes ago as the UPS man comes to my plant each day and knew I was in town. It is absolutely beautiful and I am truly amazed at the workmanship and sound. The bass and treble are remarkably balanced much above what I expected and the volume is incredible.

09/02/2011 Just wanted to let you know I received the 50CE two days after my phone purchase. I have had it now less than a week and cannot put it down. I am a beginner (two years give or take a few months) and this is my fourth acoustic. Interestingly, my first guitar was black as well and the diffence in the action is virtually non-comparable. I decided I was done with black guitars! Until now. The sound is studio quality, the body is extremely light weight and the action is effortless. |

09/02/2011 When I arrived at my brothers house the guitar was already there. Curious as I was, I immediately unpacked it and started to play. Wow, what an experience! The guitar looks great, sounds fantastic and plays very easy. I’m very happy with my new instrument and I will tell all my colleges in the Netherlands about you guys. Keep up the good work. |

08/30/2011 I purchased a ZAD-50CE last month and couldn't be happier...I mean I love love love this baby. Simply stated...my ZAD-50CE sounds grrreat!
I've only been playing for about 1 1/2 years and decided it was time to upgrade from the entry level Hohner I was playing. In any event buying a Zager has proved to be a great decision. I now playing nearly every every chance I get and my skills have greatly improved no doubt in part to the great action on my new Zager. I also want to say thanks to all the folks at Zager guitars who were involved in the purchase and shipping process. My guitar had a long journey to Alaska and arrived in perfect condition. |

08/25/2011 I got my new zad80ce about 5 or 6 weeks ago and just wanted to let you know it`s the best guitar I have ever played. It has a fantastic sound and overall tone and it stays in tune with only minor adjustments needed from time to time. I was thinking about getting a Taylor when thankfully, I stumbled across your website. Not that I wouldn`t be happy with a Taylor but you saved me a lot of money. Thank you very much! |

a Martin D41 acoustic/electric for myself which I paid $3250
And I must be brutally honest when I say, this ZAD50 is
without a doubt in the same league both visually, aurally, and
ease of playability. It is absolutely astonishing that you can
produce such an instrument and sell it for such an affordable
price. |

08/21/2011 I bought a zad50 2 1/2 yrs ago and still play it daily. I love it and still go to the guitar shops and can't find anything that plays or sounds as nice w/out taking a 2nd on the house, and even some of those don't stand up to the zad50. I bought it on a whim and wanted to learn to play-doing very nicely now. I have always said that if something happened to it-I would replace with a zager immediately. Good luck-You have touched and inspired a lot of people, myself for sure. Thank you for everything. |

From the packaging, to the case, and most importantly the Zager Guitar. It is my privilege to own such a finely crafted instrument. It's sound instantly soothes me and I couldn't ask for a better fit; but the best part is, I didn't have to sacrifice sound for a smaller size. |

08/18/2011 I have been playing my Zager for a couple of months now and I truly love this guitar. Very nice sound and the quality of the instrument is first rate. I have never played a "high end" acoustic but I have played some that were extremely difficult to play. The modifications to the nut and bridge improve the ease of play tremendously. The sound when playing lead licks and riffs is amazing. Very penetrating and "ringy". The customer service and quick reply to any question submitted was astounding. Very nice people to do business with. Fine instrument and attention to customer service equals happiness! Thank you very much!!

08/15/2011 Good morning Dennis, and Dennis Jr, and everyone at the Zager team. I wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent guitar delivered to my home the very next day following the order. I usually take a little while before I make a judgment when buying an instrument. This is no exception, but I have been unable to put this guitar down! The sound is more vibrant than my Martin Dreadnought, (which was also setup with light strings). The tone is every bit as rich and full as the Martin. The playability with bends and barre chording in particular is the more comfortable than my deluxe strat and tele, or any other guitar I have had the opportunity to play.
The picking response is excellent, the built in tuner is a very nice and useful touch, and the electronics are also very solid on this guitar. The professionalism and courtesy with which you give to your customers should be a standard in the musical instrument/lesson business |

08/13/2011 I would have written sooner, but it's hard to compose email with a guitar in your hands, and I've barely put my new 80CE down since it arrived. It lives up to its hype and then some. I've been playing since college (All I shall say about college is that it was something more than 20 years ago. Well, okay, more than 30 years ago.) I never gave up playing, but in the last 18 months I got really serious about it again. I own a Martin/Clapton signature and a Small Martin (for travel), plus a nylon-string acoustic/electric Cordoba that takes me back to my college/folk music roots in the late 60s and early 70s. But I had wanted a Zager for a long time and finally gave in. It is sooooo sweet. The tone is every bit the equal of the Clapton. The string spacing along the fret board gives me the room I need to hit my marks as cleanly as on the Cordoba classic without the extra neck width that is always a challenge for someone with relatively small hands. My 80CE would have been a bargain at twice the price. I can't tell you how happy I am that I took the plunge. The guitar has so inspired me that I have signed up for high-end lessons to get even better at this. When my instructor asked me how good I wanted to get, I told her I wanted to be able to stand toe-to-toe with Mason Williams and play "Classical Gas" in duet. I actually have some confidence with the 80 CE that I could get there. |

08/13/2011 The guitar arrived today. Wow! As advertised. A beautiful instrument. Easy, easy to play and what a great sound. I had been playing a Washburn CE for the past three years which, frankly I really liked. It was in a similar price category and really a pretty instrument. I sold it last week after only two days on the market and was wondering if I had done the right thing as your guitar hadn't arrived yet. I did the right thing. Denny's guitar blows the Washburn away. No comparison in sound or playability. I'm a relatively new guitarist at age 62. I've been studying and playing seriously for just short of three years and this guitar will boost my abilities immediately. |

My fingers do not hurt when I press down on the strings; the sound is beautiful; and the guitar is excellent in looks and I highly recommend Zager guitars for all ages. Denny Zager, Jr. has been wonderful as far as customer service and I feel when I email him, I've known him for a long time. |

08/03/2011 i am amazed,this guitar is wonderfull.my wife bought this for me and allready responded with an e-mail earlier so i'm going to take a moment to let you know what i think. the sound is amazing up & down the neck,no buzzing.so easy to fret,spacing on the stings gives me the cleanaest sound.so many have give'n-up playing for these reasons.you have truelly solved that issue. As I inspected guitar i could not find any flaws.perfect!!! i now know that quality and customer service are on the top of your list. |

08/03/2011 Hello: Just to let you know I got the guitar and am really impressed by the sound the look of it. I'm just starting to learn to play and right away felt very comfortable with this guitar. Years ago, I tried to learn to play but found it to be awkward and frustrating experience and gave up. I realize now that the guitar I had been trying to learn on was crap.
