05/22/2005 First of all, I would like to say how great the service was. I ordered my Black ZAD-20 guitar on January 23rd and received it on January 24th. My parent's bought me my first guitar for Christmas about 40 years ago, It was a True Tone bought from Western Auto. This guitar is priceless to me only because of sentimental reasons and after 40 years I thought it was ready for retirement. When I got my new guitar out and started playing, the only word that come to mind was WOW!!! And I haven't been able to put it down since. Thanks again for a great product and wonderful service!!

05/20/2005 Dennis: I received the replacement yesterday as promised. As I suspected, I love it. It even plays easier on the upper reaches! This new ZAD-20 is more than I had even dreamed of. I don't know where to post a review, so I'm attaching it to this email. We'll be doing more business in the future. Best Regards,

05/17/2005 To Denny and other members of the gang, Thanks for such great service. I could not have walked into a store and received such superb attention. I received the ZAD-20 yesterday. The finish is very nice, and it is the same type of pattern (sunburst) as my Tennessee Crafters guitar which I bought from a friend who is a fanatic about guitars. The difference is I paid him $1100 for it. The sound of the ZAD-20 is very comparable to the Crafter with the Crafter being just a bit more mellow sounding. I have been playing only for 6 weeks, and I have been meeting with a group on Thursdays where I mostly have felt left out....I hit a chord where I can. Last night I actually kept up with most of the runs with them. It was incredible!! My fingers did not throb after the session which went on for three hours. We played mostly country and gospel type songs. Still hate the F chord though...:~) A couple of the experienced guys took the ZAD and tried it for themselves. They could not believe how easy it handled and how good it sounded....especially after I told them the price. I can see myself picking up a ZAD-80 in the future. I have enjoyed watching the lession videos. The information in the one for changing strings was worth the price of admission. I am still thrilled about my early learning even though it is chord style with the pick. Hopefully, I will be able to incorporate some finger method as I progress. At age 52, I feel like the old dog has learned some new tricks. I find it hard to believe some people might want to remove the signature. (noticed that in the questions section) I would think the question should be how to preserve the signature and not lose it to fading out. I remember very vividly the song In the Year 2525 as I probably heard it every day when riding to high school. The stations played it round the clock. Looking forward to going through the rest of the website offerings. Thanks again and best regards,

05/17/2005 I love my new Zager! I have attempted to play the acoustic guitar many times over the years and have left the experiences feeling inherently un-musical. No longer. The learning curve on a Zager is remarkable. The design of the neck and the low action mean immediate success. Wow! I am having so much fun. The personalization and signatures make it even more special. Thanks, Danny! Peace,

05/11/2005 To the Entire Zager Guitar Family, It's taken me nearly a month to fully evaluate the ZAD20 CE OM guitar that I received in early January, 2006. I have been playing for more than 25 years and consider myself an enthusiastic amateur player -- certainly no guitar god, but not a hack for that matter. Every time that I pick this guitar up and play it I become more confident that - for the price - I couldn't have made a better choice. I have written songs for almost as long as I have played and was frustrated by my other acoustics because there were certain licks that I wanted to play but just couldn't. The exceptionally low action and slightly wider string stance has allowed me to finally play what my ears had heard all those years - things the previous guitars just wouldn't let me do!! If you have a fat wallet and can drop $1000 or more on a guitar, you'll probably do just that. But for about $525 (shipping included) you just cannot go wrong with a ZAD20 CE OM. The service experience was also exceptional - I will refer any player that I know to you folks!

05/08/2005 Dear Denny, Dennis, and everyone at Zager Guitars, Well, you know how people say good things are worth waiting for ? It's true! I am absolutely thrilled with my new ZAD20-CE. The pictures cannot do justice to the beauty of the sunburst finish and it plays and sounds like an extremely expensive guitar. I will never give up this guitar!I think the feature I like best beside the beautiful appearance and tone is the slimness of the neck. My hands are not that big, but with this guitar I feel like can comfortably reach all areas of the fretboard. Thank you for all your kindness and being true to your word. Sincerely,

04/27/2005 well....I gotta say, you guys exceded my expentations. I travel for a living, oh and sell things while doing it....but anyway, got home and my zad-20 ce ,solid black --was waiting in the living room. open up the box. okay ...sounds good.. not like my old guitar......see I was already spoiled --I'd leant my old guitar to my neighbor...so I went and got it..did some comparison's...let's just say I'm no jimmy page or hendrix but I know a great playing , great sounding guitar when I pick one up....on friday night's if I don't have a date ..which has been fairly consistent lately..I go to my uncles house...he's been playing for about 25 years ...me maybe 4... so I hand it to him ...said not bad for around 200 bucks huh? He said not bad for ANY price..he plays fingerstyle.. I'm more of a flatpicker and strummer... I know you guys at zager like to hear about the guitars when you sell 'em ... and I've been on-line and seen alot of naysayers out there... people i've played 800-1800 guitars ...and unless your a guitar snob type of person who goes by "name" brands ...you won't find a better one... i'll get another zager zad-20 or 80 or whatever in the very near future ...thanks guy's ..sincerely..

04/27/2005 Hello again Denny & Dennis, The ZAD20/CE/BK arrived yesterday, What a work of art. It was still in tune after traveling half way across the country in sub freezing temps. On my ZAD20 I had gold grover tuners, I put them on the ZAD20 they look so good with the black finish and the gold ZAGER emblem on the head stock. I'm in my church praise band an two of the other guitarists both have Taylor acoustic elec. guitars and they are both jealous of the ZAD20/CE, they thought it cost at least $1200. There both cost at least $2200. Anyway what a great sound that comes plugged in or not. I run it thur a Behringer Ultracoustic ACX1000, what a great clean acoustic sound, Thats what I ran my ZAD20 thur also, after I put in a LR BAGGS under saddle pickup. Kepp up the great work, if I'm ever in Licolon Neb. I'd love to meet both of you. Dan

04/27/2005 Dennis, Thanks so much for my new Zager. I received it yesterday and I'm in love with it already. As a beginner with fat fingers, it's help out immensely. I took it to my guitar teacher and he said it's a great guitar and the setup is fantastic. He said it plays and sounds 200% better than the guitar I was playing. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to playing throughout my retirement, as I'm a new 58 year old retiree, with finally time enough to learn to play the guitar, which I've wanted to do all my life. Sincerely,

04/21/2005 I received my guitar yesterday. Thanks for getting it shipped out the same day. I would like to say again what a pleasure it is to business with your company. I was amazed that all of my e-mails were answered within 15 minutes of sending them. It made the decision process much less stressful. I was nervous about buying a guitar sight unseen, but felt fairly confident in the quality after pouring over your website. That, in itself, is quite an undertaking. I haven't stopped grinning since I got guitar. It plays and sounds fantastic. Not to mention the fact that the finish and choices of wood are beautiful. I have a Washburn D-12, Fender Stratocaster, and an older classical. My ZAD-80CE plays with the ease of my Fender, if not easier. I'm afraid that they are going to be retired to their cases for awhile. Thanks again for all of your help and excellent service.

04/17/2005 Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your excellent customer service. I've bought a lot of things via the internet but this was definitely the best AND the easiest experience I have ever had. Thank you for making the return so easy. The guitar wasn't quite what I was looking for but I still think you have a solid product. It's no accident that you are successful. All the best,

04/17/2005 Howdy, Denny - I got my ZAD-80CE yesterday and was stunned by the tone and finish. I haven't owned an acoustic/electric guitar for several years due to my inability to decide which model to buy. I've been playing for many years and usually play a Fender American Strat in my bands. On the occasions when an acoustic is thrown into the mix, I usually borrow my other guitar player's Larivee or my brother's Taylor. Your 80 is superior in tone and brightness to the Larivee and compares favorably to the 20 year old Taylor. I'm happy to have found your website and have spread the word. Looking forward to gigging with my new guitar. By the way, thanks for the t-shirt and other extras.

04/17/2005 This testimonial is not of the quality of the Zager guitar, as I have yet to receive it. This testimonial is of the quality of the Customer Service of Zager Guitar Company. Although, I unfortunately do not play the guitar my youngest daughter does. Due to the fact that I also am not a person of wealth and knowing that the inevitable dilemma for the purchase of an up-grade to a more suitable guitar for my daughter was forthcoming, the anxiety had begun to set in. Counsel received from some of the "player" friends of mine, stressed the importance of quality, durability and ease of play. This, of course, equated in my mind as '$$BIG$$'. Depressed with the fact that I could not afford a $1,000.00 Taylor and laden with all but dashed hope I found Zager. After reading the testimonials, speaking to friends and further research, the decision was made to purchase a Zager guitar for my daughter's birthday. To make quick resolve of this story, a mistake was made during shipping. Below is a copy of the response to my inquiry as it related to the whereabouts of this surprise birthday present of my beloved child. This response is precisely why I put forth every effort to not only buy American, but to deal exclusively with small business entrepreneurs whenever possible. Service satisfaction of this type is a rare and generally unheard of practice for most companies, especially larger ones. I would like to publicly congratulate and show my appreciation to Zager Guitar, most specifically Dennis Zager, Jr. for an unequalled quality of customer service and satisfaction. Even though this may not seem to be a "Big Deal" to some, it does demonstrate a symptom of positive customer service that is fast becoming an extinct endeavor as larger companies tent to crush the efforts of the small business persons. Thank you Dennis Zager! Your company’s guiding principles are those to be envied by others who dare to complete. Sincerely,
Charles J. Parker

04/14/2005  I received my Zad80OM on thursday. It's beautiful, truly a work of art. First let me tell you that the appearance of this guitar is just fabulous. I feel like I had a guitar custom built for me. Second, the sound is as good as any guitar I have played and better in most cases (including 4 figure Martins). The sustain and resonance is unparalleled but then the subtle tone and warmth when lightly played is exquisite. I was very fearful to "order" a guitar on line. I have always needed to play a guitar, to touch and feel a guitar, to know if it would inspire me to play. I believe that is what a great instrument does, inspire. This guitar has done that for me. The setup is as good as any guitar that I have played, but the appearance and sound are unsurpassed. Thank you for bringing me together with this guitar that I will love for many, many years. Warmest Regards

04/09/2005 Dear Denny, I received my new ZAD80-CEOM on Friday, right on schedule. It's a beauty! I have a ZAD-20 acoustic electric so that I already knew that I would love playing it. I find it much easier and finger friendly than my other guitars, including a much more expensive Martin 000. The deep, richer sound of the ZAD80 sounds closer to the sound of my Martin however the ease with which it plays enables me to play for hours. I love the OM size, as well. My daughter is getting married this year and I wrote a song to play at the wedding. I plan to use my new ZAD-80CEOM because of its comfort and the beautiful sound that comes out of it, even at a novice's hands. I began playing guitar later in life and have been playing for less than three years. Your Zager guitar has helped me to play more (and I think better, as a result). I'll be proud to show it off at the wedding. I also want to thank you and the people working with you for your support, quick responses (whether it was answering my email or my phone calls). I was certainly helped to feel a part of the Zager Guitar family. Best wishes,

04/07/2005 I have wanted to learn the guitar for years, unfortunately, I have big fat fingers and little spare time. Months ago, I stumbled upon your Website. Read the testimonials, read about your product and made a decision to try one more time. I purchased a ZAD-20 and started your online tutorials. I quickly discovered that you and your family are everything the testimonials were stating (and more). Whenever, I had questions, they were answered ASAP, whenever, I encountered anything with the product you were "on top of it" ASAP. I am EXTREMELY pleased with your product and customer care. Well, a few months have gone by and I am playing some of the songs from the online tutorial, I have confidence in my playing that continues to grow each day. I recently purchased another Zager, the ZAD-80CE; just as the ZAD-20, it is a work of art and so easy to play. It arrived in excellent condition (as I expected from you *smile*). I just love it. Sorry, I took so long to respond; I was having so much of a good time playing, I procrastinated responding to you. Sorry *grin*. I am soooo pleased with your product and customer care I am at a loss for words. Keep up the good work, and you have made me a loyal customer for life. Also, my older brother is thinking on playing now.... guess which brand I am talking him into? I want to thank you and your family for helping me achieve a lifelong passion of learning to properly play the guitar (without the usual frustration I once encountered). To anyone reading this that wants a great product, great customer care and online tutorials that will help you learn to play, your search is over!
