08/13/2007 Hi Dennis, I've played a lot of acoustic guitars in my time...I'm 58! and I've been in the music business for more than 45 yrs. I'm in the Country music field but when I was younger, I was into Rock,Blues, and Jazz. I've been lucky enough to have worked with some great artist's.I've been a keyboardest for most of the time but I play all instruments and acoustic guitar in Country music is the back bone of it all. That's why it was so important to get this Zager guitar! I own a Takamine acoustic/electric but the ZAD 20CE puts it to shame! It play so easy and sounds real full, tomarrow I'm starting to lay tracks using the Zager! Ya'all do great work and have a great product, don't let anybody else tell you different!!!! |

08/10/2007 Hi Denny,
I know that my son commented that he didn't care about accoustic guitars and he commented on how great the guitar was several times on sunday when we got home. I am taking it with me when he goes for guitar lessons tonight and see if I can get a some advice on what I can say to even get on that site. I know nothing about doing gigs -my son has not even said about doing this. He just started playing this past spring and just really liked the gibison sg electric guitar. I just know that you have provided me a chance to open up a chance for my son to enjoy playing a great accoustic guitar at a price that we could afford. I am REALLY THANKFULL for that. |

08/08/2007 Dear Dennis, Well, after only two days, I received the second guitar today! I inspected it tonight and it is also as beautiful as the first one I got. After alternating back and forth with the two guitars, and really listening and paying attention to the action, I am beginning to realize that these Zagers are indeed pretty easy to play! And the subtle intonation and wonderful sustain made me smile, smile, smile. Maybe I'm just getting accustomed to the guitar or maybe the calluses I've developed over the last two weeks have made it seem easier to play (yeah, I have developed calluses. Maybe I'm just improving since I've been playing every day since I got the first guitar. Wow, man, you guys are by far the most fabulous company to deal with of all time! with much appreciation for all you've done to make me a satisfied customer, Niel Speer

Sorry for delay in getting back to you. I did receive the GORGEOUS!! guitar, all in tact, the very next day! It looks and sounds great, and it plays great! I didn't realize how arthritic my hands are till I started playing it, but it will get better with time--I hope. (Yeah, I'm one of those senior citizens!) Some day I'll sign up for your online lessons. (Have to get some things done first.)

08/02/2007 Hello Denny and Denny Jr.
I hope you are both doing well.
Well I know it may not seem possible but as it gets closer to December I know my wife will start asking me for Christmas ideas. I've been thinking about a travel guitar and can think of no finer instrument than your ZAD15 travel guitar. I purchased your ZAD 20 last year and still absolutely love it. I can only assume that all Zager owners love them as much as I love mine. Recently a new Guitar Center opened in my area. I went over there to look around and play with some of their guitars. Well what can I say...I would put my ZAD 20 up against just about anything in their store. Many costing hundreds more than what I paid for mine. I can not praise the quality of your instruments enough. Like I said in one of my other letter " In the year 2525, if man is still alive...they'll be playing Zager Guitars". Keep up the wonderful work.

08/01/2007 No problem. Been really happy with my guitar (as a newbie, the sore fingers was tough). I'm playing an hour or 2 every day just because I'm having so much fun at it and the guitar definitely made a difference in letting me play until I was tired and not too sore(usually). I'm really happy with my Zager and happy to share the experience. Gary Ashley
P.S. I really like the guitar I bought from you. Only been playing for 3 months or so but have picked up some other guitars and can immediately tell the difference in the action. I've recommended your guitars to a lot of friends who play. |

07/29/2007 I was torn between the ZAD-80CEOM and the ZAD-80CE. Both are electric and acoustic but the OM is slightly smaller. Both had a marvelous sound when I played them acoustically (without electric). The tone is warm and deep.
I use it with a variety of amps, mostly in a church, and the sound is clear as a bell.
The guitar came in spotless condition - it clearly was tuned before being shipped, and needed little effort on my part. I checked it carefully and found nothing, not even the slightest problems.
The action is easier than any steel-string guitar I have even owned.
It looks like a museum piece. This is a very high quality guitar.
I have been playing guitar, on and off, for about 20 years. I tried other guitars in stores, including Martins, and the Zager sound beat them all.
Do not have any concern buying from Zager over the Internet. They are first class.

For anyone concerned about buying a guitar over the internet, I can tell you that Zager works with you to ensure you have the exact instrument you want. I had some rather demanding requests, and Zager's customer service was incredible! |

07/26/2007 I am so impressed with your commitment to customer satisfaction, I
have never seen more effort put into being sure the customer is satisfied.
I visited two very large music shops with a friend over the weekend. Of course, I
played the very high end Martins and Taylors costing over $ 2000 and one might
have equaled my ZAD 80 in sound, but not in action. Needless to say, I am so very
happy with my ZAD 80!!
Again, thank you. Be assured I will give you the highest recommendation to all
who ask or will listen..

07/23/2007 Just wanted to drop you guys a line and let you know that I did receive my guitar last week. Unfortunately I had to work out of town and wasn't able to lay my hands on it until the weekend. All I can say is WOW...it is everything you advertised and more! Easy to fret and the sounds....my god the sounds that come out of this instrument are soul-gripping! I have been too busy playing to write but I had to force myself to sit down this evening and let you know that you have one very satisfied customer. Thanks for all the "extras" in the package I must say that was a pleasant surprise. Take care guys and I promise I will steer as many friends as I can to your business.
P.S. I decided to take the online instruction and I've been very pleased with that as well!

Ok I received the guitar on Tuesday the Aug 1st..Sorry I'm so late in telling you the arrival date.
I know UPS cost more but the good thing is you can track it..I tracked the shipment since the 24th..It actually would have came on day sooner but a train was late.
Anyway I love the guitar..The action is just like you say and the intonations are all right on the money. The finish on the guitar is great too..
It was well worth the delay.

07/20/2007 Just recieved my new ZAD-20CE yesterday, I could'nt be more pleased. Just ordered ut Sunday and it was here Wednesday, just as promised. The workmanship, tone,and hard case are all superb. I haven't played in years, but I am really looking forward to getting back into it, I was mostly discouraged with my old guitar because it was so hard to play, There is no comparison with this one, totally in a different class.

I just played my fathers guitar for the first time yesterday. My uncle, Richard Wood, just purchased the guitar for my father and had it shipped to him earlier in the week.
By the way, Wowwwwwwwwww! What a guitar! I can't believe the quality of sound, sustain, workmanship and the ease of play for the money. I have a 1973 Gibson Dove that I've had since since 1975 and absolutely love. While Dad's guitar has a different kind of sound than my Dove, I have to tell you that I love the sound and sustain. I'm sure if I had one, I'd play it instead of my Dove. |

07/14/2007 Hello again Zager Guitars,
I felt compelled to write to express my satisfaction w/my new ZAD-80CE
guitar. I have been playing this thing non-stop since I got it around 2
weeks ago. I am so impressed with its playability. I originally became
interested in your axes during researching new acoustics. I play in an
acoustic duo for the last year or so. Before that I was playing
electric guitar for about 20 years. When playing acoustic songs where a
lot of barre chords are used, I would get some serious hand cramping
going on. I thought that my hand wasn't developed enough to play
acoustic guitar exclusively after 20 years of electric playing. Then
after a year of acoustic playing elapsed and the cramps were not really
getting any better, I was starting to get very concerned, as my duo
was/is becoming very popular and prosperous. I read the
reviews/testimonials on the Zager guitars and thought that I'd take a
gamble and order one, being that there was a complete refund available
if I was not satisfied. Being a veteran musician, it's common that you
don't buy gear w/out trying it before hand, but I was so taken by the
reviews/testimonials that I couldn't resist. Well dammit, I'm here to
tell you that I have become used to this thing and I've gigged w/it
twice so far and put in about 20 hours of playing on it and I can't
believe the ease of playing. My cramps have virtually disappeared
overnight. When I got it, I tried a few of the hand cramping tunes in
our set and played them w/ease. I also do a lot of lead playing and
it's like playing an electric guitar. The sound it great and intonation
is perfect. WOW. What a score this thing is. Also, I did install the
top strap peg as shown in video and all went well. I was sweating right
before I made the hole for fear of something horrible happening. But
the advice of a Dremel at medium speed did the trick.
It plays perfect. I can't put the som'
bitch down. HELP!! (no, on second thought, don't help). Thank you,
Denny and son for killer service and a killer machine to go forth and
bring great music to the masses with.

07/11/2007 Greetings- I received my guitar yesterday and was surprised it was in tune. It plays beautifully and the action, as you say, is excellent. I am a middle school principal and have used guitar playing as a way to engage at-risk students. Two other teachers and I play with them during lunch and it has improved their attendance and attitude. However, I needed my own guitar (not a student guitar) as my fingers were hurting.

07/09/2007 Just going to let you know that my brother received his guitar and just absolutely loves it. He's been playing for a very long time and has owned alot of Martins and other expensive gutitars. He told me that this guitar may just be the best guitar he's ever owned. He said that it may even be better than his D35 . Thanks again for all your help and Im very exited about getting my 20 here in Hawaii. I will get another 80 ,as soon as I get back to the states, for myself. I enrolled in your classes for a year. Thanks again and it has been a real pleasure doing business with you. |

07/02/2007 My generous younger brother, Richard A Wood, purchased the Zad 80 Acoustic
and sent it to me for my 77 th birthday. What a brother !!
Then I want to say, WHAT A GUITAR !!!! It sounds amazing compared to my
Seagull S6+Spruce. I have had nothing but Rave comments about it and have
given several interested people your address. I played it with some friends
who had $1000 Taylor's. and I have to tell you, they were in awe of the looks
and sound. Theirs could not match it. Then along comes my son and orders me
a case, which arrived moments ago. It too is beautiful.
I have gone over the guitar inch by inch and have found it to be a absolutely perfect instrument in every way.

As a collector, I have many guitars, some of them costing five times what I paid for my Zager but the Zager now occupies the prime spot in my den.
