I just received my new guitar on Wednesday and I love it! I ordered the black finish ZAD50 Acoustic and I was amazed by the quality. Of course the sound is fantastic. I really enjoy the playability also. I'm parked in an RV park in Mission, Texas and can hardly wait to play my first jam with it. I may have problems getting it out of the hands of my friends. A friend of mine, Gary, liked the guitar so much that he has placed an order also. Thanks for a quality product! |

The guitar arrived in perfect condition. I had to wait a couple of hours to open the case due to the cold weather (learned that from watching one of your dad’s videos). I have been playing it for a few hours now and I am very pleased. It looks so much better in “real life” than what the pictures depict! The sound is terrific and I really enjoy playing it.
I have watched 5 or 6 of the videos and have found them to be very useful. You guys did a great job in producing them. Your dad really is a likable guy- You fellows run a class act.

I received my new guitar yesterday and am glad to report that it exceeded my expectations. It is by far the easiest playing instrument that I have ever owned. It is far better than one might expect from a guitar in this price range. Also, the case is fantastic. I’m sure I will enjoy it for many years.

04/07/2010 It was so frustrating trying the find the right professional guitar teacher in my area - I was new to town and I didn’t know anyone. I decided to go a different route with guitar lessons. When I randomly landed on Zager's site, took a look at Denny's lessons, signed up for just a month to see what happens, and after the first two videos, I noticed the difference in my guitar skills. It’s now been 3 months (I emailed Dennis Jr to have him upgrade my membership) and I look forward to my weekly instruction time that I set aside for Denny. Thanks for your help! My boyfriend loves that I can really play guitar now. |

I just picked my friend and my new guitar from the airport in Singapore.
Thanks for making all the arrangements to send the guitar to his hotel in Miami.
We got the guitar (in one piece). It sounds and looks great! Once again, many thanks.
I'm glad we got the hard case as well, as the airlines weren't very gentle
with it, but I'm glad the trip did not affect the guitar at all.
I will certainly refer my friends to Zager.

04/05/2010 Hello Mr. Zager. I bought a 80CE OM Acoustic/Electric from you a while back. I see that they are now sold out so I’m glad I got my hands on one at the right time. After a long frustrating period, I am finally starting to notice a lot of improvement in my playing and there is not one day I don’t come home from work and think to myself that I am lucky to own such a beautiful guitar. It sounds amazing and I am completely satisfied with it. It is the best investment I have made and look forward to many years of playing.

03/30/2010 Denny, I have played guitar on & off for 30 years and am not all that good. I have played a Goya for the entire time. I get attached to stuff and have a hard time with change. I have always wanted a better guitar and several times looked at some. The term “better guitar” means something different to everyone you talk to. After visiting numerous guitar stores and realizing a better guitar will cost me from $750.00 to $2500.00 depending on who says what is good, I chose to continue to play my Goya. Then I noticed on E Bay several guitars that said “Zager modified” and researched what that meant. What I found was many, many testimonials about your quality and price. So after much thinking I decided to buy a Zager. It takes me awhile to save that much money so it was a hard decision. I have now been playing it everyday for three weeks and know how much better it sounds and plays than my Goya. I have become very attached to it. And when asked ,What kind of guitar did you buy? I proudly answer, I bought a Zager! |

03/28/2010 I've been an aspiring guitar player for about 7 years. I bought an Ibanez acoustic and played it sporadically and it sounded ok until I would go to a music store and "play" the Martins and Taylors.
Although I didn't feel that my skill level and wallet could justify the expense of spending over $1,000 I wanted to move up to a nicer guitar. There are some Taylors and Martins in the $600 to $900 range that sound nice and I began to look at possibly moving up.
I was on Ebay one day and saw a Taylor 110 and the description said Zager modified so I checked out the link to Zagerguitar.com and read all of the testimonials watched Denny play the various models and was so impressed that after 2 days I bought the ZAD50 which was in my price range and had features that the Taylors and Martins for that price didn't have.
I am very happy with my purchase and will take Denny's online lessons in an effort to improve now that I have an instrument that sounds so good. Thank you for your fast service and prompt answers to my emails. Sincerely, |

By the way, when my 23 year old son is home he heads right to my guitar. He likes it so much better than his own. He's a better player than I am, and has tried more guitars. He loves mine.
If I can get playing well enough to "earn" a ZAD 80 I may have to "lend" him my ZAD 50. Thank you very much. You guys are the best.

03/24/2010 I'm nearly 60 and wasn't sure I could learn an instrument, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Denny has really made it enjoyable since he's incredibly patient, informative and a likable guy. even though I'm older than the average student, I feel like I'm learning faster than a 17 year old because Denny is so thorough. Thanks again! PS- I bought a ZAD 50 acoustic six months in, when I realized my old Alvarez wasn't cutting it. That purchase helped me learn even faster because of Denny's pristine custom setup. Now my ol buddies are jealous because I took the leap and decided I wasn't too old to learn guitar. Thank you for that. |

I recieved my new Zager CE 50 OM last week and this is the first opportunity I've had to write you a note about how much I like this instrument. It is beautiful and everything you've said and what I've read about this guitar is true. I'm so thankful that I found your website and took the time to digest the information you provide. I have not played since the late 60's and it will take me a while to re-learn. I've purchased the online lessons and have started trying to build up my "soft" fingers with your lessons.
I started looking for an inexpensive guitar and you convinced me to buy this beautiful and well crafted guitar. Now I feel as though I have invested in a guitar rather than just bought one. Thanks Denny, I look forward to enjoying this for a long time. I had a tough time deciding on the full size or the OM. I have found the OM very comfortable and since I won't be performing I think the OM is great.

I received my guitar last week and haven’t been able to put it down. It sounds great! I bought a ZAD 50 Natural from you 4 years ago and enjoyed that guitar also. I have a 14 year old son who plays and I would always find my guitar either in his room or in his hands. So I gave him my older one and bought me the new ZAD 50 Sunburst. We have different guitars lying around the house but these seem to be our favorite. I'll think twice before I go off and try another. We have 5 guitars at our home and now I am looking to sell the others. Thank you for this lovely guitar..........again. I can’t express enough how great this guitar is. |

03/18/2010 Denny, I received my ZAD-80CE Saturday. I am 60 years old and have owned a few guitars over the years. I don't consider myself a musician although I have performed professionally, I just barely get by strumming to accompany myself. I was immediately in awe of the beauty of this fine instrument. It is a feast for the eyes and ears and my fingers are already finding runs I didn't know I could make on my own songs. I can only describe this finely crafted guitar as a "MASTERPIECE". A work of art. I find myself sometimes just opening the case just to admire it's beauty. I have had a few questions and was always answered within about a half hour by Denny Jr. I have signed up for your guitar instruction course so I can maximize my pleasure of this beauty. I received my new guitar last week and am very pleased with it! It arrived in perfect condition. The sound is beautiful and it fits me better than my Fender. I think I will be able to progress further with this guitar in terms of bar chords, chord progressions, riffs, etc.

I received my ZAD-50 Zager Guitar and I really do like it.
It is easier to play and sounds great just like all the folks said in their testimonials.
I do like the wider spacing of the strings; it allows me to play better without buzz and dead tone strings because of my short stubby Cherokee Indian fingers. One thing I haven’t noticed in the testimonials. The company, your people. I go out of my way, and in many cases pay a higher price, for a product when the people I talk with / deal with Bubble / play / make you feel welcome. I emailed you and informed you of my problems and needs. Dennis responded by email with what he believed to be my best choice and explained why. When I called to order my new Guitar, Brian answered and immediately made me feel happy that I called and it’s apparent that Brian is a people person. I have either hung up or walked out on a place of business because of the personality of the people handling my business. Thank You for a great guitar and a pleasant buying experience. |

Just wanted to let you know that I received my ZAD 50-CE today. I wasn't expecting the guitar to get to Lexington so soon but was pleasantly pleased. To my surprise when I opened up the box there was a
t-shirt, guitar pics and a box of Martin strings. Plus an autographed picture of Denny. But my biggest surprise was when I opened up the case and saw the new guitar and a polaroid picture tsken of Denny working on my guitar. Not a copy or print of a picture but a real polaroid. You talk about service. Well, I was floored because I've purchased many guitars from different sellers and have never had service like this!!!!! I received my new Acoustic/Electric today and must say
it is fantastic. I could not be more thrilled. This
guitar makes a bad guitarist like myself sound good.
Although I have played guitar for 35 years I have only
played a few times on someone else's for the past 7 or
8 years, having sold mine long ago. A couple weeks ago
I picked up my brother's Ovation which lead me to
catch the bug again and decide to purchase one.
I was hesitant over what guitar to choose as I really
didn't want to spend a couple thousand to get an easy
player with good sound. I also knew I would be
frustrated and unhappy trying to basically re-learn
guitar unless I bought a quality instrument. A friend
suggested I get myself a Zager and so I did.
Having not played over an hour total in years I was
amazed how easily I can chord, pick and play this
thing. It is the easiest guitar to play I have used.
It sounds excellent, it sounds wonderful. I only wish
every beginner learning to play had a Zager. If they
did I am certain we would have not only many more old
guitar players, but also many more old good guitar
players. As to the experienced guitarist of the world,
I suggest they sell their multi-thousand dollar
guitars, buy a Zager and take a nice island vacation
on the money left.

I just received the ZAD 80-CE as an anniversary gift from my husband. I am now 63 years old, and started my guitar playing career when I was 7---taking lessons from Nick Maniloff on my old "Stella." I quit after 12 lessons because all he taught me was scales and notes, and as an impatient kid, I wanted to play songs. So I taught myself chords and songs, but could not play melodies. When I was 17, my Mother and Father bought me a Martin 00-18 as a high school graduation present. I played for a while, but my fingers got so sore I eventually gave up the guitar. Then I inherited a Gibson LG-2 from my great uncle. I played that for many years because it was somewhat easier to play, but still didn't have the rich, mellow tone I wanted to play folk music. I stumbled on your very informative and friendly website by accident, and was intrigued by the beauty and variety of the guitars and the E-Z play setup you advertised on the Zagers. I visited the website daily for about a week just browsing. My husband has always wanted me to resume playing, so he surprised me with the ZAD 80-CE for our 36th anniversary. When I took it out of the box I was absolutely blown away! It is everything AND MORE that your other customers have said about it. The tone is bright, rich and mellow, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. The extra touches---the stand, T-shirt, picks, and photo of Denny holding the guitar---seem to reinforce what others have said about your customer service and customer care. I dug out my old collection of songs and played for two hours---absolutely without pain! My husband was amazed. 02/28/2010 I am 48. Always wanted to play the guitar. I was shopping one day on Ebay for a acoustic guitar and came across a Zager guitar. Not knowing anything about a Zager, I googled it and came upon the Zager web-site. With all the great reviews I decided to purchase a Zager guitar. My choice was a ZAD 50 CE. WOW. Easy to play is a understatement.
It has a rich warm sound. Love the onboard tuner and electronics. The fit and finish of this guitar is great.
How well do these guitars play, EASY! Just like Dennis says.
I even took back a $1200.00 Breedlove acoustic I purchased at Guitar Center because this played and sounded better!

When you are in the process of buying something a lot of companies want your $$$ so they will say the customer service they provide is really important to them. Like the national chain that a lot of Guitar players like myself have been to only to find out the hard way.
Jill, I would like to thank you for your patience and AAA+++ customer service, you were polite and very consistent on what was advertised @ the Zager web site.

02/26/2010 Hey Denny & Dennis, I I have only owned factory guitars like Yamaha and Takamini. As soon as I ordered the guitar from you I started practicing Love Me Tender on my Tak.... I got half way through the song...ok, for me. I think my fingers were about to bleed. I could not wait for the new guitar to arrive. I sat down with the ZAD for awhile and felt comfortable. No finger fatigue at all. The Zad is very light compared to other brand guitars. I have to say that Denny gives me hope. After a friend told me about the learning program I immediately got excited and dug my guitar out of the closet. I had given up years ago. I took those music store lessons for almost 2 years. Those lessons cost $20 a half hour eleven years ago. I'm 45 years old now and look forward to playing guitar for the years ahead. Thank you for the inspiration. |
