07/29/2010 Hi Dennis,
I am SO glad I didn't get the Alvarez MSD and ordered
a baby Zager instead. This is the finest 3/4 sized guitar
I have ever seen. I feel like I am beginning a new love
affair. I expect to play this more than any other guitar
as my daily practice guitar because it is so comfortable.
My right shoulder remains low and relaxed and the string
set-up eliminates any left hand pain. I intuitively know that
practice with this guitar will make me a better player on
my other guitars, my wonderful ZAD80CE OM, and
my Big Baby Taylor. |

We received our Zad-50 on time & in perfect condition. I am not an expert on guitars but do know about craftsman ship & this guitar is beautiful in every way. My Daughter and I share the guitar and it gets played every day (we both are beginners ). I feel that by finding your web site and buying your guitar I have avoided many of the pitfalls beginners face. I would like to sign up for your lessons for her and I. 07/25/2010 Hey again, and for the record....I went to Rockville, MD yesterday to Chuck Levin's Music Emporium, or www.wmcworld.com and Guitar Center. Chucks has been around forever and is a really widely known music center, people from all over the world have gone there. Anyway, I played every acoustic they had and nothing touched the Zager I tried....my friend's. It is amazing how $4500 Taylors and Martins just don't touch the playability of your guitars. After that jaunt to the city I was absolutely positive that your guitar was the way to go. I'm very grateful you just happened to have one in stock at a discount that matched the exact one I wanted. I think it was a sign from the Lord!! And who am I to question divine intervention?

Received my ZAD 50 CE- very reasonable price. I absolutely love it. It is beautiful. Friends who have been playing for 40 years reckon it is exceptional value and sounds great.
Certainly is easier to play than two others I have been learning on.
What a great accident discovering Zager guitars and getting one here completely unscathed.

07/22/2010 I bought a Zager guitar about a year ago and after owning an Ibanez and
an old Conn this guitar beats them hands down. I like playing it for
hours and it never seems to make my fingers sore. I'm learning so much more and getting better then I ever thought I would in this little of time. A fun new thing in my life! Thanx Denny!!! |

07/22/2010 Dennis, I got my guitar yesterday.
My dad played it till 11:00 PM last night and did not have anything but good things to say about it. He has a Martin D28 that he loves. He has been playing guitar for 60 years. He said it sounded better than his Martin, that is something I never thought I would here him say.
I bought an Estaban a year ago and promptly sent it back and got my money back. Since then I have been leery of buying things over the internet or TV.
The Guitar appears to be everything your reviews and website say it is. I am giving you my Fathers opinion because he has more experience (60 years) and plays much better than I do.

I received my guitar and I'm so very thrilled! It is exactly as we
had talked about, and it plays so wonderfully. I feel sorry for my Ibanez that was put in the closet upon the Zager's arrival. The sound is
awesome.... just nothing like it. The electronics are wonderful, too,
and I'm enjoying trying out the options and the different sounds it
creates. Thank you so very much for this
incredible instrument that I'll play in many places. Also, the finish
is beautiful. And, I could not believe that it was in tune when it
arrived........ now that is amazing!

07/16/2010 Dear Denny, Your website got it right. This guitar really is 50% easier to play (at least!). I'd
love to have a real musician come over and play it since I'm a beginner, so I could sit back
and enjoy the tone coming from the front of it. Love the way the tone
sustains and the harmonies ring. What a great guitar to have for many years t come. I couldn't complain about anything if I tried. I'm so happy. Thanks again Denny.

I just wanted to give you an update since I purchased my ZAD 80CE a
couple of years ago. Three of my siblings; sisters Susie and Della and
brother Robert, are also proud owners of your guitars. Played unplugged,
they still project over 3 and 4 part harmonies. When plugged in, they
deliver what every guitar player seeks - nuanced tone for days. We play
during family get togethers and are absolutely convinced your instruments
are the best value for the dollar period. Robert accidentally damaged
the jack on his guitar, and you immediately sent an entire replacement
unit. Customer service isn\'t just a sales ploy for
you, but an unheard of commitment. I have only ever sent in testimonials
for a product twice in my lifetime - both to Zager. I remain your
enthusiastic supporter and will continue to spread the word. |

07/14/2010 I bought my ZAD-50 about 6 months ago and everything about my experience has been positive. The buying process was flawless - fast, professional, and no "buyer's remorse." I'm a beginner so I don't have years of experience playing other guitars, but I get together with friends that each have different experience levels and every one of them enjoys playing my Zager. This weekend I had a couple of technical questions; Denny Jr. answered both of my emails within an hour - on a Sunday night! In the current era of crappy help desks, Zager is a refreshing reminder that customers value support - thanks, Denny. For all my fellow mid-life-crisis players, I highly recommend the Zager. |

07/14/2010 Hi Dennis, I received my dreadnought Zager ZAD50 guitar last week and I can't stop playing it since then, every afternoon, when I get home from work! In my personal opinion, the tonal quality, playability, and finish quality of this guitar is second to none at this price!! Im sure it is better than most of the high priced name brand guitars! Ive never heard of your guitar until I saw your site one day when I was searching for something affordable. 07/10/2010 I just got through leaving a voicemail for Denny but wanted to send this note along as well. I received my ZAD-80 and have not been able to put it down let alone back in it's case. As I said, when I opened the box and then the lid on the case my first thought was that you sent me the wrong guitar. The photos on the web site do not do justice to the look of the woods used on this guitar. The cedar top is so much richer and darker than the photo. The incredible inlay work around the body and sound hole is amazing. The gold Grover tuners are so much more substantial than those on any guitar. I could go on and on about the beauty of this instrument and if it stopped there I'd be happy. However, after tuning and playing the first few notes and chords...well I'm hooked. I already know I will have this guitar forever. I own 2 Martins, and a Gibson J 160-e as well as a few others. The Martin D-28 is for sale on ebay as we speak and once it sells the Gibson will go next. As much as I love those guitars, even after professional set-ups they do not have the action or playability of the Zager. Thanks so much for my new dream guitar. Best Wishes, |

I received my ZAD-50 two days ago and I am truly impressed. I admit I was a bit apprehensive about ordering a guitar online without being able to play the instrument beforehand. Wow, were my fears groundless! This is really a nice instrument. I was immediately struck with the guitar's appearance - the woodgrains are tight and uniform and the finish very attractive.
I've been playing for 40 years and I bought the Zager to be my "traveling" guitar. Right out of the case the Zager sounded terrific with excellent tone and good low-end "punch." I'm sure the sound will just improve as the guitar ages. I have played several Martins and Taylors over the years and this ZAD-50 is so much easier to play. What a refreshing change to buy a guitar that I will not need to take to a technician to have the action lowered! Denny Sr.'s "String Science" eliminates the need for that. The Zager is really a great value for the price.
You have made me a very satisfied customer!

07/07/2010 It has been 2 years since I bought my Zager ZAD-80CE. As I was looking at the 6 guitars I now own including the Gretch Black Falcon, Les Paul, Ovations, and Takamine which I appreciate for each of their charactristics I felt compelled to send a note to you guys for inspiring me with a great guitar to go on to turn music into a major part of my life. The Zager is still the guitar I pick up first and as much as I love that guitar it is not for purely sentimental reasons. I have been fortunate enough to be associated with many guitarists far superior to myself in these last few years due to the sound stage that I constructed for locals to jam at and the few that I have allowed to play the Zager (including one of Prince's studio guiarists - he played it exclusively while recording tracks for a demo CD at my recording facility) have all agreed that it is truely a great guitar. My experience with Zager Guitars service and support and product quality convinced me that Zager Guitars is "one of a kind". That guitar was the perfect instrument for me as a beginner and is still the best as I develop as a guitarist. Your committment to complete quality is unique. I have been playing guitar for 37 years mostly for self pleasure but now that I am in my 50's my arthritis makes it hard to play acoustic guitars. In fact, I can only play my (California) Fender Stratocaster with little or no pain. I was talking to my older brother about the pain in playing acoustic guitars when he told me to try his "top of the line" "Taylor" guitar. I couldn't come to terms of paying over $2000 dollars for something that I would only use a few times a week. I then started looking for a used Taylor guitar on e-bay. That is when I stumbled onto your easy-play guitars. So, I started reading all the testimonies and magazine reports and still had a problem with spending the money (although a lot less) for your guitar without trying it first. I ordered the Zad-80CE thinking this may stand up to my brother's Taylor and allow me to play without terrible pain.
Well, I'm sure you know where I'm going with this message. Yes, the guitar arrived in perfect condition and in just a few days. When we opened the case it was like a dream come true. It not only looked flawlessly beautiful but the first sound from the stings blew us away. It has a deeper quality tone than my brother's Taylor. Then after about an hour it dawned on me that not only was there no pain but the speed/ease of playing notes/chords up and down the neck was as easy or easier than my Strat. Thanks Denny. As for my brother, he can keep his Taylor, I like the Zad-80CE more. Anyway, your guitar has really helped me with my arthritis. I now enjoy playing again.

07/04/2010 All I play is my ZD50. It's all I play anymore. At 65 years old and with a pretty good case of arthritis, I wouldn't even be able to play without the ease of playing a Zager. Also, everyone who plays it can't believe it. My son is still trying to sell his 2 guitars so he can order a zad50. That speaks for itself. You have a great product. Any thing I can do to help, I will be glad to do. Thanks again. It is so great to do business with an organization that provides such customer service. |

Sorry I took so long to get back to you after I received my new ZAD80.
The guitar arrived in perfect condition. Wow!!! It sounds fantastic. I have an old 80's model Gibson J45 and a newer Ibanez Artwood, my new Zager sounds incredibly better than either of them . As for playability the Zager is far superior, it is the easiest playing acoustic that I have encountered except for maybe a few Taylors and Martins I've played with but those were 10 grand!
I wish I hadn't waited a year to purchase my Zager
but I'm happy to have been able to purchase one of these fine instruments.

Well, I received my guitar a couple of days ago and much to my utter delight and surprise the intonation of this guitar is absolutely dead on! This is absolutely the best guitar I've ever owned or played. Even with the challenges I have with my extremely large hands it is definitely the best guitar I've come around. Anyway, I want to thank you and Denny Sr. for going the extra mile! I am currently considering buying my seven-year-old son a Zad15. I've also recommended you to my best friend of 45 years and I will continue to recommend you.

06/28/2010 Hi Dennis, I have been learning alot in the last several days about the finer details of the acoustic guitar. I could see and hear the quality of my Zager 50 when I first played it, I was just surprised with the setup. It is growing on me already. My good friend and band mate attends the NAMM shows as a guest of a famous maker of acoustic guitars. He played my ZAD50 today and compared it to their $1,700.00 price point.

06/25/2010 Totally amazed at how quick it got here. In less than 72 hours from the time you received the billing information I had it in my hands.
It is everything I expected and hoped for. Can't wait to get it up to the church and run it through the sound system. It's tone is beautiful here in the house so I'm confident it will play well there also.
I can tell already that the callus on my fingers is going to get considerably softer since the action is so light that all it takes is to think the chords. Love the strings just like I play on my Les Paul Studio.
I'm also having a lot of fun with your guitar course. I've been playing for years and have learned all the wrong things the hard way as you described in your lessons. It's a great feeling to get some names for the mistakes I've been making and some suggestions on how to go about correcting them.

Wow! I can't believe what tremendous products you have I received my second
ZAD50CE acoustic electric. My first ZAD50CE was purchased in August of 2005.
I had tried several other guitar brands and they just didn't measure up to my Zager. Once you have the ease
of play and beautiful tone and bright clear sound that comes from a
Zager the others don't cut it. I tried a Gibson and a Martin. The Martin was good but not as good as my
Zager. I sold each of them.
This second guitar is a black one and it just sparkles with
perfection. The tone and clear sound of this
ZAD50CE is really wonderful! I also love the convenience of a
built-in tuner.
I am in love with my guitar and I really love the way you all do
business. I just cannot say enough great things about Zager Guitars
and the Zager Guitar Family business! I'm sure that these 2 beauties will last me a very long time and their value will continue to grow. I see Zager Guitars go
for sale on eBay once in a great while, and the final selling price
is VERY near Zager's original price.

I called my friend to tell him about your guitars, and I was surprised to learn he had already bought one from you last summer, an EZ-Play Acoustic Electric.
He said that I was making an excellent choice in purchasing your guitars and that the one he bought was the best guitar he had ever played. He said that everybody tells him that he sounds fantastic, assuming that his playing skill has increased dramatically. He said it was totally because of your guitar. Then he told me that he had recently gone out and tested several top guitars in the $2000 to $4000 price range, and that none of them held a candle to the guitar he bought from you.

I am a member on the website and am so thankful for all the lessons on the website, and above all my beloved 80CEOM Zager Guitar.
You probably get this all the time, but I am originally from Lincoln
and my parents and brother still live there. I took lessons from Denny in the late
70's and early 80's (somewhere in my teens). In fact, I still have
several of his original handwritten lessons. Still two of my favorites to play are "Yesterday" and "Killing Me Softly".
I learned more from Denny in the small amount of time I was with him,
than I did from instructors 10 years prior to him (I started when I
was 8). He was such a great teacher!

I remember when I purchased my ZAD-50, you guys were fantastic. I have had my ZAD-50 since March of 06 and honestly it is the most wonderful guitar. I have some friends from church who play in the worship service who play with Taylors and another with a Larivee. They all absolutely love the feel and sound of my ZAD-50. I tell everyone I know who plays about Zager Guitar Company.

Well, my Zager arrived. How exciting! This guitar is great to hold. I just love looking at it. Once I start learning to play, I know I will appreciate it even more. My uncle says I got really lucky with this Zager. He has a $1100 Martin and told me mine plays easier then his. I think my Dad is also secretly jealous he didn't get a Zager 80. I've been strumming and fingerpicking and it sounds great and is so easy to play. I usually play electric but I've played acoustic for years too. I needed an acoustic electric to play out at the gigs our band does. I'll use it at home unplugged and there is nothing like a nice acoustic. And for that price you can't go wrong. I was using a medium pick very gently strumming and playing single note runs and what struck me when I did some hammer ons was the ease of doing them on this neck. And the clarity of the note. Fingerpicking was nice too. I just gotta get more accustomed to it. I'll play this guitar a lot. The case is great too. Thank you again. |

I wanted you to know that I purchased my first guitar from you more than two years ago (DM-1)and placed an order for another guitar yesterday. I ordered the Zager EZ-Play ZAD 50CE Sunburst. I've also subscribed to your on-line instructional system a while back. It has been great.
Your string science was something I had been searching for a long time. It has enabled me to play something I never could, bar chords! More than that, I've also liked finger picking because it gives you the "whole song."
Thanks again for making my guitar's action as low as possible. Your guitars have actually made my life a little better in the last 2 years because I have found a new lifelong hobby that makes me happy. This guitar is so easy to play and makes me even happier because it was such a deal compared to the Martin I was admiring at the music store for a couple months.
