09/10/2010 Hi Dennis, I have been learning alot in the last several days about the finer details of the acoustic guitar. I could see and hear the quality of my Zager 50 when I first played it, I was just surprised with the setup. It is growing on me already. My good friend and band mate attends the NAMM shows as a guest of a famous maker of acoustic guitars. He played my ZAD50 today and compared it to their $1,700.00 price point.

09/07/2010 I am truly amazed at the amount of effort you place on customer satisfaction!!! I am 41 years old and I feel like a child on Christmas Eve waiting on Santa. This is the way a business is supposed to be. Your families business ethics and the amount of respect and dedication you give to your customers was outststanding. My Zager 80 acoustic guitar plays like something 3 times this price. Can you tell I'm a happy customer? Thank you and your dad.

09/06/2010 Totally amazed at how quick it got here. In less than 72 hours from the time you received the billing information I had it in my hands.
It is everything I expected and hoped for. Can't wait to get it up to the church and run it through the sound system. It's tone is beautiful here in the house so I'm confident it will play well there also.
I can tell already that the callus on my fingers is going to get considerably softer since the action is so light that all it takes is to think the chords. Love the strings just like I play on my Les Paul Studio.
I'm also having a lot of fun with your guitar course. I've been playing for years and have learned all the wrong things the hard way as you described in your lessons. It's a great feeling to get some names for the mistakes I've been making and some suggestions on how to go about correcting them.

Wow! I can't believe what tremendous products you have I received my second
ZAD50CE acoustic electric. My first ZAD50CE was purchased in August of 2005.
I had tried several other guitar brands and they just didn't measure up to my Zager. Once you have the ease
of play and beautiful tone and bright clear sound that comes from a
Zager the others don't cut it. I tried a Gibson and a Martin. The Martin was good but not as good as my
Zager. I sold each of them.
This second guitar is a black one and it just sparkles with
perfection. The tone and clear sound of this
ZAD50CE is really wonderful! I also love the convenience of a
built-in tuner.
I am in love with my guitar and I really love the way you all do
business. I just cannot say enough great things about Zager Guitars
and the Zager Guitar Family business! I'm sure that these 2 beauties will last me a very long time and their value will continue to grow. I see Zager Guitars go
for sale on eBay once in a great while, and the final selling price
is VERY near Zager's original price.

I called my friend to tell him about your guitars, and I was surprised to learn he had already bought one from you last summer, an EZ-Play Acoustic Electric.
He said that I was making an excellent choice in purchasing your guitars and that the one he bought was the best guitar he had ever played. He said that everybody tells him that he sounds fantastic, assuming that his playing skill has increased dramatically. He said it was totally because of your guitar. Then he told me that he had recently gone out and tested several top guitars in the $2000 to $4000 price range, and that none of them held a candle to the guitar he bought from you.
I'm sure you all are very proud of the fine instruments you prepare. Good job to all, and I am even more excited to have your guitar as my main guitar. Thank you Zagers. |

I am a member on the website and am so thankful for all the lessons on the website, and above all my beloved 80CEOM Zager Guitar.
You probably get this all the time, but I am originally from Lincoln
and my parents and brother still live there. I took lessons from Denny in the late
70's and early 80's (somewhere in my teens). In fact, I still have
several of his original handwritten lessons. Still two of my favorites to play are "Yesterday" and "Killing Me Softly".
I learned more from Denny in the small amount of time I was with him,
than I did from instructors 10 years prior to him (I started when I
was 8). He was such a great teacher!

I remember when I purchased my ZAD-50, you guys were fantastic. I have had my ZAD-50 since March of 06 and honestly it is the most wonderful guitar. I have some friends from church who play in the worship service who play with Taylors and another with a Larivee. They all absolutely love the feel and sound of my ZAD-50. I tell everyone I know who plays about Zager Guitar Company.

Well, my Zager arrived. How exciting! This guitar is great to hold. I just love looking at it. Once I start learning to play, I know I will appreciate it even more. My uncle says I got really lucky with this Zager. He has a $1100 Martin and told me mine plays easier then his. I think my Dad is also secretly jealous he didn't get a Zager 80. Anyways, I will write back once I really get to know her. Thanks again you guys. |

I've been strumming and fingerpicking and it sounds great and is so easy to play. I usually play electric but I've played acoustic for years too. I needed an acoustic electric to play out at the gigs our band does. I'll use it at home unplugged and there is nothing like a nice acoustic. And for that price you can't go wrong. I was using a medium pick very gently strumming and playing single note runs and what struck me when I did some hammer ons was the ease of doing them on this neck. And the clarity of the note. Fingerpicking was nice too. I just gotta get more accustomed to it. I'll play this guitar a lot. The case is great too. Thank you again. |

I wanted you to know that I purchased my first guitar from you more than two years ago (DM-1)and placed an order for another guitar yesterday. I ordered the Zager EZ-Play ZAD 50CE Sunburst. I've also subscribed to your on-line instructional system a while back. It has been great.
Your string science was something I had been searching for a long time. It has enabled me to play something I never could, bar chords! More than that, I've also liked finger picking because it gives you the "whole song."
Thanks again for making my guitar's action as low as possible. Your guitars have actually made my life a little better in the last 2 years because I have found a new lifelong hobby that makes me happy. This guitar is so easy to play and makes me even happier because it was such a deal compared to the Martin I was admiring at the music store for a couple months. 08/20/2010 Dennis, Landon loves his new guitar. He has been playing it alot and his guitar
teacher said it was a great guitar (we already knew). Last night we met
Dave Matthews and he signed Landon's guitar right under your name. I have registered Landon on your site under my email address and we plan very soon to sign up for the online lessons.

08/16/2010 Denny, I received my ZAD 80CE close to 2 months ago now and can not but it down. I have been playing about four years. I have a Taylor, Fender, Washburn, and have played some Martians guitars. This is the best one of all. Thanks for your support and keep up the great work on modifying your guitars. I know this is an old story but it would cost much more for the same quality of guitar and so I am so glad I found you guys.

08/16/2010 Hello Dennis, thanks for my brand new guitar. It just got here today and I really like those picks, large enough to hang on to and flexible to double pick. I even use them with my electric guitars. I was checking out your Web Site and found out some about your Dad, how cool is that he was asked to play at Woodstock. I would have seen him there if he had, I was there the whole duration of it. Just went there to party, didn't realize we were making history, but it WAS a blast. Hey, tell your Dad I congratulate him on his design for those guitars. They have improved my playing big time and now I play my guitar every day. Thanks again Dennis. |

I received my ZAD-50 last week and i love it...it's everything you said
it would be (and way more in my opinion!). A friend from church stopped over to approve of my new purchase and he ended up playing it for an hour, he loved it so much. Never know, he may have liked it so much he'll turn in his beloved Taylor 110 for a Zad 80! Anyways, I have watched your "help videos" about all the ways to take care of this beauty of a guitar and it's been very helpful.

and prompty as promised. Upon opening the case I studied it very closely for any flaws , hoping I would not be dissappointed...I was not. The sweet smell of the wood also was a

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it! My brothers and I all have Zager guitars. They are well built and hold together well in the cold dry climate here. It is -40 here, this morning I walked 1/2 mile with my ZAD 20, to play at a gathering. When I got there the guitar was still in perfect tune! These guitars are truly works of art, and they play so well I can't help but want another Zager. Thanks again Dennis, this has been a pleasurable buying experience

08/04/2010 Dennis, I am interested in another ZAD-80CE. I have purchased several from you. Primarily I have purchased the 50 model and given them to my nephews to encourage them to learn to play.
I have enjoyed looking, showing, and playing your families guitars and would like to continue. Tell your father that I have watched most of his training videos and learned more from him then I learned from my mother who was a school music teacher most of her life.
The first enjoyment I got when I got home from my trip was getting to play my Zager Guitars.
I hope I can get another Zager guitar so I can personally use it to encourage another person close to me to play guitar.

Just got my Zager 50CE on Wednesday. First off, photos do not do justice to the fit, finish quality of this
instrument. It was flawless. I didn't get a chance to really play it the first night, as much as I wanted to; letting it settle. So today I played right after lunch and couldn't believe how much I instantly loved this guitar. I was so happy that it turned out this well because I wasn't sure without getting to play it before I bought. But there's no way this guitar is being returned, Dennis. I absolutely love it. Thanks again for everything.

I just wanted to thank you for my two Zager guitars. I have owned my Zager 50CE for one year and still love its bright tone, it really sings when I play up beat songs. I have owned my Zager 80 acoustic for over six months and it has really opened up and has the most beautiful deep, rich tone. I’m so glad that I own both of them.
My father in law has owned a Gibson acoustic for over thirty years. When I let him try out my Zager 80 acoustic he said that in thirty years he has never found a guitar that even came close to his Gibson in tone and playability until now. He couldn’t believe how rich its tone was and he said the action was perfect. When I told him what I paid for it he couldn’t believe it. He said my guitar was far better than any guitar in the $2000 to $4000 price range.
I just wanted to thank you again for making and selling such a fantastic product for such a reasonable price. I couldn’t be happier with both my Zager Guitars. |

I want you to know how absolutely thrilled I am with the Zager Guitar I purchased from you. The moment I took it out of the box, I immediately knew that it was a very high-end guitar. The finish is so beautiful, with a brilliant shine.
I've been playing the guitar every chance I get. To my surprise, I remember many of the basic chords that I used when I played the guitar several years ago. My tender fingertips (left hand) do not get sore from playing because the action on the guitar is so unbelievably low.
The guitar has such a rich, full sound, with sparkling highs and deep, luxurious lows! It stays in tune and none of the frets or strings buzz at all.
In short, this Zager guitar is the best guitar I've ever played or owned. I have already derived many hours of pleasure from playing it, and that means that I'll love it even more as my skills improve.
Kudos to your dad and yourself for making the greatest guitars.
